Managed by the Kodaikanal town ship, Chettiar Park is a small park presenting tourist with calm and soothing atmosphere. It is a perfect place to be with your loved and spend some relaxed moments amidst lush greenery. Tourists can find wide range of exotic flowering plants in the garden. The popular Kurinji Flowers also bloom here once in 12 years and create a unique purple haze everywhere. The flower bloomed last in the year of 2004. There are decked floors for flowers in the park and lush green lawns. The beauty of the park can be known from the fact that it has been an important sight for the shooting of many commercial films.
Another important park in the hill station is Bryant Parks which act as a host for the horticultural show conducted in the month of May every year.
